- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 inch ginger, minced
- 1 shallot, thinly sliced
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp tamari
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
- 10 cabbage leaves
- Pot of boiling water
Dipping Sauce
- 3 tbsp tamari
- 1 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- Juice of 1/2 lime
Instructions
- Set oven to 350°F and bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Place cabbage leaves into boiling water for 1–2 minutes until tender and bright green. Transfer immediately into ice water to cool.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shallots until soft and translucent.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking until aromatic.
- Add ground pork and cook until browned and fully cooked.
