Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 sweet onion, diced
- 1 orange bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 14 oz can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 small head green cabbage, cored and chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or jack cheese
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large, deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, chopped onion, and bell pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is fully browned and the onions are soft and translucent.
