To prepare this meal you need the following ingredients:
5 pieces of pork chops
2 big onions
Salt
Cooking oil
Preparation:
Salt the pork chops and put them to fry in a pan.
Fry them well on both sides and before they turn red add the two onions sliced in large circles over the meat.
Fry it for a while, until the onion softens a little bit, and then stir the onion with the meat.
Serve the pork chops into a serving plate.
To prepare the PESTO sauce you need the following ingredients:
- 50 grams crushed walnuts
- 100 grams goat cheese
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- 7-8 leaves of fresh basil or a handful or 1 full teaspoon of dried basil
- 50 grams cold pressed olive oil
Preparation:
In a blender put the cheese, which you previously cut in few small pieces and add all the remaining ingredients EXCEPT FOR THE WALNUTS!
Mix the ingredients with the blender until you get a nice puree.
Serve the Pesto sauce in a smaller deep bowl, and after that add the crushed walnuts and mix all a little bit.
This is truly an amazing sauce, which I would recommend with some grilled pork. Enjoy it!
