Taratur – To Refresh Yourself After a Busy Day

taraturTo prepare this starter, you need the following ingredients:

 

  • 500 grams soured cow milk
  • 2 tablespoons smetana
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • A handful of minced walnuts
  • Cold pressed olive oil
  • salt
  • dried dill

Preparation:

Peel off the cucumber and chop it in very small cubes.

Place it in a deep bowl.

Mince the garlic and add it in the bowl.

Mince or crush the walnuts with mortar and pestle and add them too.

Pour in the soured milk, and add 1-2 tablespoons of smetana to taste.

Add some salt and mix it all well.

Pour in olive oil and sprinkle some dill.

You can relax with this taste of freshness………..
