This recipe for turkey slices with eggs, broccoli and cheese is a perfect choice for a great breakfast. It has everything you need: easy preparation, excellent nutrition and of course – great taste! 🙂

To prepare this meal you need the next ingredients:

  • 16 egg whites
  • 4 cups broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 tsp koshering salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 16 slices turkey
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 cup of your favorite cheese

With this amount of the ingredients you should make 4 servings of the recipe.

Instructions for preparation and cooking:

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400oF). Take four oven safe bowls, place them on a baking tray and spray each bowl with the non-stick cooking spray.  Set them aside for later use.   In each bowl put 4 slices of turkey to form a bowl shape, slightly overlapping them above the walls of the bowl.

Whisk the egg whites, salt, black pepper and garlic powder in a medium bowl.  Add one cup of broccoli for each bowls with turkey.  Divide the egg mixture between the bowls.

Place the baking tray in the middle of the oven and bake the meal for 22 minutes until the center is set, but not wiggly.  Then, take the tray out of the oven and add a quarter cup of cheese on top of every bowl.  Put the tray back into the oven and bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
