Spiral Vegetable Tart To Enchant And Delight You!

It’s time to create a real culinary art. This beautiful recipe is not only delicious, but also very nice to look at it. For this gorgeous vegetable tart we will use seasonal vegetables to shape a hypnotizing spiral pattern. This recipe is very easy to make and will surely be a total success at your next dinner party. Be sure to bake the tart until the crust gets a nice, deep golden brown color. Lovers of delicious food and art, this one is especially for you my friends 🙂

Preparation time: 45 minutes

Cooking time: 40 minutes

Total time: 1 hour and 25 minutes

To prepare this interesting meal you will need the next ingredients:

  • 1 puff pastry shell
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 large fresh leaves of sage, (thinly sliced)
  • 2 zucchinis
  • one squash
  • 5  carrots (we suggest using ones with different colors)
  • one eggplant
  • some olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

With this much amount of ingredients you should get 6 servings.

 Vegetable Spiral Tart

Instructions for preparation and cooking:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (or 375 F). Put the pastry in a tart pan and prick it several times using a fork.
  2. Spread the mustard and sour cream over the bottom of the tart, and sprinkle with some sage.
  3. Wash the vegetables and cut them in lengthwise strips with a peeler. Use some of the skin for decorative purposes
  4. Take one strip of zucchini, roll it into a spiral, place it in the center of the pan (with the skin of the vegetable up), and then surround it with a few strips of eggplant and carrots until you reach the ends of the pan.
  5. Sprinkle some olive oil over it. Finally, season with some salt and black pepper.
  6. Bake the tart in a preheated oven for 40 minutes.
