Preparation and cooking:
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
With a sharp knife make several incisions in the meat. In each of the slots put a piece of onion. In a small bowl mix all the spices together with the olive oil. Smear the meat with this mixture of spices.
Place the beef in an ovenproof dish. Chop the mushrooms and arrange them around the meat. Pour the water to half, cover it with a lid and let it roast. Roast the meat covered for 1 hour. Occasionally open the lid and pour the liquid over the meat in which it is roasting. After one hour, remove the lid and roast it for 20 minutes or until the meat gets a nice brown color.
When the meat is ready remove the dish from the oven, cover it with aluminum foil and leave it for about 15 minutes before you cut the meat.
Serve the meat with a garnish by your taste.
