Directions for preparation and cooking:
Chop the onion into small pieces.
Mince the cloves of garlic.
Prepare 2 mixing bowls. In one of them pour the milk and in the second put the grated cheese.
First dip the chicken meat in milk and then in the grated cheese, turning the meat on each side to evenly coat it.
Pour oil in a nonstick frying pan and heat it on medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook and stir it for 3 minutes. Then add the chicken breasts as well, cooking it for 3 minutes on each side. Add the tomato sauce and pepper as well as mushrooms (optional) and cover the pan. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the chicken is done at temperature of 74 degrees Celsius. (1650F).
In the meantime, cook the pasta in a large saucepan according to the instructions on the package, and in the last 2 minutes add the broccoli. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the meat and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle fresh herbs and grated cheese on top of it.
Drain the pasta mixture and serve it with the chicken.
