…Mix the brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl until they are evenly mixed. Brush the sheet of dough with the melted butter and then sprinkle a generous amount of this sugar mixture. Use all of it.
Roll the sheet onto itself to make a spiraled log of dough. Cut disks with even size using a piece of thread.
Transfer the rolls in a lightly buttered baking tray, leaving enough room between each roll so they can rise and expand. Cover the rolls lightly with plastic wrap and preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350°F). Leave the rolls in a warm place to rise until they are doubled in size and prepared to bake.
Put the rolls into the oven and bake them until they are golden brown. This process will take about 30 minutes.
Then take out the rolls off the oven and get ready to prepare the cream cheese glaze.
Preparing the glaze:
Beat the cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and fluffy. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks are formed, and then add the heavy whipping cream into the cheese mixture and beat it shortly to combine all. Be careful not to over beat.
Pour a portion of the whipped cream cheese onto the hot cinnamon rolls. Enjoy this tasty dessert!
