This quick and easy no-bake pie has been wandering before my eyes for a few weeks, so I decided to do it. To prepare it you do not need much time, or any special tools for cooking. It is simple and quick, so even a beginner can prepare it, and the end result is excellent! 🙂
Total time: 30 minutes
To prepare this pie you need the next ingredients:
- 24 chocolate sandwich cookies
- 40 small peanut butter cookies, divided
- quarter cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1¾ cups of powdered sugar, divided
- 3 ounces chunky peanut butter
- 2 cups of heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- quarter cup of dry roasted peanuts, finely chopped
- 2 ounces milk chocolate, crushed into pieces
With this amount of the ingredients you could prepare 12 servings of this dessert
Instructions:
Using an electric mixer whip the cream in a mixing bowl until appears a defined trail. Then add the vanilla extract and slowly put 3/4 cup of powdered sugar. Beat until are formed stiff peaks. Place the cream in the fridge for later use.
In a blender mix all of the sandwich cookies with 20 peanut butter cookies. Blend them until you get crumbs. Then, slowly add butter. Blend the ingredients until they are combined.
Pour the mixture with crumbs and butter into a 9-inches pie pan and with your fingers press it around the sides and on the bottom of the pan in order to form a pie crust. Put the pie pan in a freezer.
Mix one cup of powdered sugar and the cream cheese in a big mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer blend the ingredients until you get fluffy and light mixture. Add the peanut butter too. Beat them all together until they are well combined. Add half of the heavy whipping cream and mix it all until the mixtures are completely combined together. Pour this mixture over the cool pie crust. Even the surface of the pie with a wooden spatula. Pour the rest of the whipped cream on top of it. Place the pie in the fridge.
