This day calls for a chocolate dessert. Why this particular day? No reason at all. The truth is that every day calls for a chocolate dessert! 🙂

Preparation time: 20 min

Cooking time: 45 min

Total time: 65 min

To prepare this heavily sweet dessert you will need these ingredients:


  • 1 pre made frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 3/4 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbspwhipped cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4-5 bananas, peeled and cut in halveslengthwise

For the crunch with cinnamon sugar, hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cups of hazelnuts
  • 2/3 cups of shelled, raw pumpkin seeds
  • quarter cup of brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 tsp koshering salt

With this amount of the ingredients you should get one 9-inch tart.
