Cut the meat into cubes, sprinkle them with flour and along with the chopped onion fry it in heated oil in a frying pan until it gets a nice rosy color. Sprinkle the meat and onion with ground fresh pepper and add some red wine. Fry it shortly and then pour with hot salted water, in which was previously added the tomato paste. Spice it to taste, cover the pan and leave it simmer for 10 minutes.
Then add fresh peppers cut into strips and a pinch of thyme. Again cover it and continue to simmer for another 20 minutes. During the braising, make sure that the meat is not left without a liquid so you should pour small amounts of hot water over it occasionally.
When the meat is cooked, serve it with a side dish of your choice.
