Preparing the candied bacon:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Place the bacon on a sheet pan with baking paper. Lightly brush the bacon strips with bourbon on both sides. Sprinkle with brown sugar on both sides of the bacon.
Bake it for 12 to 16 minutes until the sugar starts to caramelize and the bacon becomes crispy.
Remove the bacon from the sheet pan and let it cool.
Using kitchen scissors, cut the bacon strips into pieces with the size of a bite.
